OS X mac store call of duty 4: modern warefare controller support???

Hello all!

I am by no means a techy guy, just got myself a macbook pro 2015 base model. I downloaded my favourite all time game to find I cannot link my dualshock 4 controller to it and play successfully.

Has anybody had any luck at all with getting a ps4 controller to work with this game?

The game does not have controller support at all, also not in the Windows version. It's from a time when it was expected that you play first-person shooters on a PC with mouse and keyboard, as God intended.
