In the recent years it feels like Apple just gave up trying to do a good UI, it starts from the new horrible System Preferences in Ventura, but also from so many inconsistencies in the UI, some of them are cosmetics, but some actually slow down my work :(

Would love to see if you've encountered any more!

A cosmetic inconsistency example
One menu is blue, the other one is gray, and they are side by side

Behaviour inconsistency example

Same page, same paragraph, same app, random menu option location - this one actually slows me down

I don't disagree with you, but honestly, Apple is nearly perfect when compared to other OS and app developers. Ask any Adobe Creative Cloud user about UI & program inconsistencies and you'll need to take a week off work to read the list.
