when you download update off the mac website.. you know how it comes in a bin file... are you supposed to burn them on a disk or will the bin file open directly up on a mac.. im downloading them from my pc then i wanna transfer them on to my mac.. do i convert the bin file to an iso or what?

no, don't use iso, your mac won't know what it is. just burn the .bin directly to a cd then pop it in yr mac. unstuff it there.

It didnt read the disk...did i burn it wrong.. I burned it as a cd image.

A bin file is not a CD image, it's just a file, a bit like a zip on your PC. On your PC just make a data CD and drop the bin file in there, burn the CD, and pop it in your Mac.
