numerous problems with streaming media. It is now compatible with servers
using HTTP redirects such as live365.com, SHOUTcast, mp3.com and others. In
addition, MACAST registration process no longer requires an active Internet
connection.
MACAST is a MacOS application designed to provide a fully-featured
environment in which to enjoy many different sound formats, including MPEG
Audio Layer II and III (known as .MP2 and .MP3), CD Audio, and more. MACAST's
Visual and BLR Plugins add a colorful experience to the music, and its skins
allow the user to customize their player anyway he/she likes.
