When I open my MacBook after its been asleep on battery a few hours, I get presented a black screen and takes 20s-30s become responsive. Once it's awake, it says "Passcode required to enable TouchID". Caps lock + keyboard brightness don't work during this either.

I've had this issue before on this Mac, and it was previously fixed after logic board replacement by Apple on their behalf. But it has returned again upon installing Windows via bootcamp, but removing bootcamp partition and clean installing Big Sur hasn’t fixed the issue.

Tried Solutions:
  • Reset SMC
  • Reset PRAM
  • Time machine restore
  • Full erase and reinstall
  • Turning off Touch ID
  • New user account
  • Safe mode
  • Removing Windows via BootCamp app
I believe this has to be a software issue as it only came back after installing Windows, and is why I suspect it happened with my previous logic board as I had installed Windows back then.

If you can help me I'd be very appreciative, thanks!!
