I have a brand new MBA m1 and was just noticing when the screen was off and after cleaning it, I could see "wrinkles" or "Wavy" lines behind the glass screen. Its when its off that you notice it, but I hadn't seen it before and just wondered if this is normal or other. Pardon the glare from the overhead light but hopefully it shows up.

That display does not look like it's off. Shut down your computer, then reevaluate.

Thx. Its not off. I just figured it out.

I used whoosh to clean the screen and used their microfiber towel and that's what happened. Talk about faking me out it absolutely looked underneath the screen and I figured it had to be since I wiped it down. Found a new microfiber towel I had and wiped it down and its all gone. NO idea why it caused that but not sure I"m using that again, or at least their cloth.
