Macbook Air early 2015, 13", i5, 8GB, 10.11.3 -> 10.11.4 beta 3

Symptom: when I leave the laptop alone connected to power, the screen never goes to sleep. It just stays on.

Here are the power settings:

Am I missing something really obvious here? (Also why is there no option for the laptop itself to go to sleep? I don't need it, but I wonder where it went...)

If you are running beta software you have to expect glitches like this. That is the point of the beta program. You are supposed to report these bugs to Apple. Otherwise switch back to a non-beta version of the operating system.

That's why I mentioned 10.11.3 – it's not a new beta thing. Possibly it happened in 10.11.2 as well and I just didn't notice, but I am 100% certain it was there before 10.11.4 beta.

Don't feel like a noob. Resetting the SMC is not an obvious step for most Mac users.
