I have a brand new macbook pro 16inch and a brand new LG 38WK95C UltraWide, using the cables the cables that came with the machine(s).
When I hook up the external monitor I see vertical lines of moving pixels (I made some videos in the link below cause its kinda hard to explain). It creates this kind of distorted line like the one on the picture here :

Would this be a hardware issue on the screen ? Don't really have a lot of other hardware to swap and try out. I can return the screen but it's a hassle (big box, takes some time to assemble / disassemble, package it up). So would like to see if others are also having similar issues.
