Hi All

First post. I have a MacBook Pro early 2011. I shut down my mac and the. When trying to boot back up it is now stuck in boot loop. Gets to logo and status bar completes then goes white then reboots again. Tried the following:

D for diagnostics. It passed
Option key but won't boot to restore from USB or time machine
Safe mode won't work
Reset smc and npram
Disconnect battery
Removed memory and swapped each by self
Can't run disk utility.

Being told could be logic board but wanted to check if I have missed something?

Thanks

Ok so i was a year too late for the Apple replacement program then. Just seems strange the diagnostic says ok

Yeah tried that but as with each other restore attempt it just went on to apple logo with status bar then once complete went to white screen and then rebooted

If I boot with option key it gives me the screen for selecting which drive hd, USB or internet but whatever I select it goes to logo and status bar. In verbose mode it lists a couple of failures including cache, sleep but most things appear to load ok. I wondered if after loading update it might be a kernel issue but safe mode not working either
