I upgraded the OS on my MBP early 2011 with Sierra and it works perfectly.
I then bought a Crucial SSD, formatted it and tried to download Sierra to it. It went through the download and came up with an error message saying the download failed. In fact the stuff was there alright, I can run apps and transfer data etc. The only prob is it won't boot the computer when installed in the machine.

Unfortunately Crucial support didn't help much. Can anyone help? Is it a ROM access problem?

Thanks for any help
