Hi,

I'm new user with MacBook Pro devices and laptop (generally), but I'm wondering about my temperatures. When I took this screenshot I was using Skype, discord, Safari, BitTorrent, apps that are not consuming really lot of cpu power, anyway are they normal ? Because it seems to be very high for a laptop, and last question, what is the maximum average that a MBP can handle as temperature ?

Thank you,

Those temps are way too high. Max you should see is 100c. I see your fans are at idle (2k rpm) so either it's not ramping up fans as needed or the sensors are reporting the wrong values.
Is it hot to the touch?

Try downloading Intel Power Gadget and see what readings you get there (temp, frequency and power). If that also shows temps in the same range then you've probably got a defective fan controller.

Edit: Here are my temps when connected to the LG 4k Ultrafine monitor and with the dGPU active.

You are running a bit hot there! Try changing that setting at the top of the iStat menus from 'Off' to 'Default' and see what happens and post back!

Yes it's hot but not scorching

Default settings has not changed anything... (For the fans)

I sure hope this in in Fahrenheit :D The maximum safe operating temperature for your CPU is 105 degrees Centigrade. If the temperature exceeds that, it will clock down in order to prevent any possible damage. My CPU/battery temperature are around 30C in an idling computer, in a 20C warm room.
