Well its been about six months since I purchased my M 1. During that time I’ve read stories of numerous problems with the M1. My story is that I have no story. No problems and running fine. Mine is an October ‘21 13 inch screen and 16 megs RAM. Would I care to upgrade, no, sorry Apple, happy with my M1.

I think my M1 MacBook Air is perfectly fine, and I have no plans to get rid of it.

My situation is that I got it back during COVID when I needed to edit 4K videos, etc. and my old 2012 Mac mini couldn't keep up. It turns out that now, I use it very lightly - 4-5 Safari tabs, Discord, Mail, etc. So for me, the M1 is a bit overkill - I'm sure I'll need the extra performance at some point...

I'm actually looking to purchase an older, worse computer just for this reason!
