I'm trying to play Zwift on a new MacBook Pro 14 but am hitting an issue when it's not plugged in where the performance absolutely tanks from about 60FPS to about 20FPS. Is this just something I'm going to have to get used to? One of the reasons I bought it is so I don't have to drag yet another power adapter around with me.
It's not talked about at all in any of the reviews of the MacBook Pro or the M1 processor, and I'm wondering actually if the computer is faulty. I don't actually mind draining the battery quicker than expected, but this performance cap is ridiculous.
Edit: Oops. Turns out there's a battery saving option in the CAD software I was running. ?
