Is there a way to swap motherboards on the mac book pro late 2006 with the 15 inch screen, to a newer one With a better processor?
Thanks in advance

When you say newer?... The cost of the machine is largely the logic board, not the casing. Seems like you're doing this the wrong way around.

Generally speaking no, the cost would be high, you may be able to go up to late 2007 but will see minor gains. Post 2008 is a completely different computer. I'm sure it's possible with enough money and modding of the case, as well as re-routing of cables and possibly new signal converter chips. But it seems a lot of work when you could just buy a 2008 model.
