I have owned my MacBook Pro for around 10 months now and purchased Applecare with it. Now i have a few problems that have gradually appeared and would like to know if they will repair or replace the laptop? I am in the UK.

I have the following problems.

Screen light filckering on the left hand side of screen.

Laptop sometimes turns off even with a good battery charge.

isight camera sometimes stops working with the camera light lit up but green camera screen in Photo Booth.

Charger has a rattle inside, as if there is a piece of metal or plastic loose.

I will give them a call later today, but thought i would ask here first for advice.
:)

Er... you bought a warranty repair extension and you are asking whether they will do warranty repairs?

Applecare sucks but they're not that bad :p

I would suggest going down to your local Apple Store first - the turnaround might be faster.

When I went in I was told that there was a diagnosis waiting period so I should imagine they'd wait to look at it themselves. They'd then probably repair it unless it was completely knackered.
