Is there a way for my AOC 27 QHD (2560x1440) monitor with my Retina 2013 Late Macbook to do HiDPI 2560x1440?

That's physically impossible. Your monitor has got only 2560x1440 pixels. HiDPI needs four times that.

You can use it in 1280x800 HiDPI mode. For 1080p in HiDPI a 4k display is required.

Short answer is ... no.
A "QHD" display runs natively at 2550x1440. Hmmm... in your case 2560x1440?

If you want "4k", then buy a "4k display".

But a 1440p display will look pretty good running at native resolution (at least to me it will).
