My Macbook won't fully boot up. It's a 2012 Macbook Pro running macOS High Sierra 10.13.0. I turn it on, type in my password, and it stays at the loading bar. The bar will fill up all the way and just sit there. It won't even boot up in safe mode. I reset the SMC, didn't work. I reset the NVRAM, didn't work. I booted up in recovery mode and ran first aid, didn't fix anything. Right now I am reinstalling High Sierra. Also, when I boot into recovery mode and go to disk utility, it says my internal hard drive isn't mounted. I click "mount" and enter my password. I've had to do this multiple times. Does it normally unmount like that?

Update: reinstalling High Sierra worked.
