Macbook pro, running El Cap, nothing odd about the device.
Problem is, suddenly it doesn't recognise a TV via the HDMI cable. I had this problem a long time ago (twice) and fixed it by removing some kind of library thing, I can't remember quite what it was.
I've run disc repairs, no joy.
I've looked at system profiles and done the alt hover and discover device thing, no joy.
I've tried different cables and TVs, no joy.
I've read a ton of other forums re this problem and people are very miffed going back years too. Very few suggested solutions seem to work for other people, none of them work for me.
Any help would be massively appreciated.
