I was in CompUSA over the weekend checking out (drooling over) a Macbook. But I noticed that the LCD screen looked very dim compared to other laptops in the store (HP, Sony, etc.). And also the Macbook Pro.

Is there a way to brighten the screen? I thought maybe the store just had the brightness turned down.

Are they really that dim? Or was it just that I was in a brightly lit store?

Thanks for any comments.
