My wifi connection from my mac book pro running 10.8.5 drops regularly. No other device, ie phone and amazon fire does this. I continually have to renew my DHCP lease. This is a relatively new issue, even though I have been running the same OS for awhile. I have not upgraded my OS because I have previously tried but it kept crashing and had to go back to 10.8.5. I imagine this is because of the laptop age (2011) and potential hardware issues with the newer versions of OS X. Any help on the DHCP issue is greatly appreciated.
