THIS IS A FIX!!!

The drivers needed are Cirrus CS4207. For some reason I tried running the Cirrus driver on all my (?) devices and it wouldn't work. I found Drive Pack solutions that installs all drivers to your computer after a hefty download. Although it didn't install the driver something about the Drive Pack solutions made the sound device available to update and then the Cirrus driver worked. This could come to my total lack of power using skills but this is what I had to do to get audio working on my macbook pro 6,2 in windows XP:

1. Download the full Drive Pack Solutions torrent:
http://drp.su/

2. Run it - and it detects the device but does not install the drivers for it (but will install many many other drivers for the Macbook so go ahead and run it).

3. Download the diver for Cirrus CS4207 (driver is in the resource tab):
http://www.cirrus.com/en/products/cs4207.html

4. Update driver for newly detected device using the Cirrus driver.

Now I can play Fallout 3!
