I activated Voice Control in Monterrey 12.3.1 and noticed a continued use of 30-50% of one of the Efficiency cores within the M1 Pro Max CPU, is this normal?

With all the processors, co-processors, ML processors, etc.inside the Apple Silicon, I would have expected that a Standby Voice Control, waiting for input, would have used hardware vs software, any previous experience? Thanks

There is no such M1 processor. Are you referring to an M1 Pro or an M1 Max???
M1 Max, maybe it was an initial setup? but I left it idle for 1 hour and was still using a lot of CPU

On my intel MBP it will initially shut off the fans to "listen" and then ramp them way up when processing the voice control/dictation. It's using cpu like this all the time?
