Hey guys. Since the launch of MacOS Ventura I have major issues with my external Monitor. The framerate is locked to 30fps with no option of changing it in the settings. I heard of people complaining about the same issue or even no working external display at all.

Fixing methods I tried:
- SMC/PRAM reset
- Clean install of Ventura via USB
- Changing the input from USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) to HDMI
- Programms like EasyRes
- Deactivating power saving mode
- Killing the "WindowServer" Process
- Booting in Safe Mode
- Changing the scaling

My Setup is a MacBook 2020 i5 2,0 GHz, 16GB RAM, 512GB and a Dell U2723QE connected via USB-C.

Help is really appreciated. I need my MacBook for studying.
Thank you in advance!

I don’t have my Mac with me at the moment but I think if you hold down option when selecting the system preference the refresh rates appear. Please do a search to verify.
