Magnetic Cases and iPhone 3GS

I have been considering getting a case for my iPhone 3GS that has a cover like the one I have for my iPod Touch. The cover, however, is kept closed by means of a magnet. I have seen the same case for the iPhone and almost bought one, except I believe that the magnet will interfere with the magnetometer in the 3GS.

Any comments?
