I know the Anchor MagSafe cube is all the rage right now, but there’s a third party version on Amazon here:
Is there really any benefit to paying over double the price for the official anchor version?
I actually purchased this Amazon version, and it seems to work OK, although there is a high-pitched whining noise coming from the included wall adapter.
I can’t seem to find any external reviews or overviews of this Amazon version, so any info might help.
Should it be returned for the official anchor product?
And given that I assume this thing is not Apple MagSafe certified, is my phone only charging at 7.5 W?
