I believe the following has always been the case for me, but it's suddenly become a hugely irritating 'workflow issue'. If I send an email to three people, it'll initially show all three names in the 'to' column, as below...

...but the moment I restart Mail, the 'to' column will only display the first recipient.
I've been using El Cap for so long I can't remember if this was Mail behaviour in earlier OS versions.
Is this just me (I've got the same problem across two El Cap computers) or is it a Mail 9.3 'feature'? Seems strange that it obviously can show multiple names, but 'chooses' not to do so!
