hello,
today we had two similar problem on two different macs.
mail wasn't launching on powermac G4 x.3.3 and powerbook 3.8. removed some files from desktop (long icon preview was encountered), ran disk utility. mail went fine on both systems.
later we found fontbook wasn't unable to view fonts we left friday (on both mac's). after reboot everything went fine again...
similar problem was about 6 monts ago.... i was unable to find real solvation.
where is the key???
