Hi all, I'm trying to create a Mac OS X compatible high res icon for my printer that I can use instead of the generic.

I've created a 128 x 128 pixel photoshop file with a high res transparent photo of the printer inside. I'm not sure how to change this into an icon.

Can anyone help me out?

Here's the file, http://homepages.inf.ed.ac.uk/s0346776/hp1010.psd

I've used a Photoshop plugin from a company called Kinetic Creations. It's shareware (10 free tries) so if you're only wanting it for an icon or two, it's a good thing. You just drop it in your plugin folder in Photoshop, restart Photoshop if it's open, and you go to File, Export, Export Icon. As easy as that!

I used it to make my iPod look like an old school Walkman, when I plug it in :)
