So now that the iPhone switched to USB-C i’ve finally decied to upgrade all of my Apple cables (except the watch cable).
Since 2008 I was obsessed with Apple cables but now times have changed and you can get much faster, better and durable cables from respectable brands. And i’m tired of my cables turning yellow.
This is what I bought :
In the living room, for charging only :
(2m/6.6ft) Belkin BoostCharge 100W, braided & Apple’s 100W wall charger.
In the car, for charging only :
(1m/3.3ft) Belkin Pro Flex 100W, braided & Anker’s 30w car charger
In the bedroom, for charging only :
(1m/3.3ft) Belkin BoostCharge 15W USB-A to USB-C & Apple’s 10w wall charger
To transfer data :
(0.8m/2.6ft) Satechi 100W & 40GBs, braided
In the backpack :
(3m/9.8ft) Belkin BoostCharge 100W, braided & Anker’s 737 120W wall charger.
As you can see, for fast charging i’ve opted for Belkin. For fast data transfer i got Satechi. All used with Anker and Apple chargers.
What other brands do you guys preffer over Apple ?
Btw, I got a cheap 10$ cable from Amazon as a back up, and mind you, its braided, supports 240w and 40gbs. I am really impressed because the specs are real.
