Hi,
Mini2018 + Mojave + LG's 34WK95U-W:
Apple failed to ever get this bug fixed.
After sleep, the very good loudspeakers (+subwoofer) in display stays silent, you might say at sleep.

Even disconnecting a cable in either ends, does not fix this.
You need to cold boot Mini to fix this.

Could it be possible to wake that audio connection "on the fly"?

How to check if the audio comes as separate usb-stream or within displayport?

Any info on somewhere in /private/var/log/displaypolicy/displaypolicyd.log
?

I have now ssd + external case waiting for test with Catalina, but still haven't got time to try, if it's fixed in Catalina...
Need to use Mojave, 'cause 32-bit.
