Windows Mass effect andromeda, your best settings for m295x

What are peoples best settings for running mass effect andromeda on the iMac with the 4g m295x and 16g RAM (running Bootcamp Windoze 10)?

Someone must have done the fiddly work of squeezing the best look and performance out of this card for MEA and I'm hoping you'll share it with me, please

I have the game, but not the card. MEA is a pretty demanding title and the M295X isn't really a high performing chip, so I'd start with the lowest setting at 1080p and work your way up from there. I wouldn't honestly expect much more than that.

Thanks, I get that and it's what I've done but I'm no pro. I figured since iMacs don't vary much I was hoping someone here way more techie than I would have noodled it to get the best results.

I would lower all settings to low and the resolution as well. Then turn it up until you find the frame rate and picture quality acceptable. The m295x is a slow card, so dont expect much I am afraid.

I have this GPU (2014 5K iMac), but not the game. I disagree with posters saying this is a slow card. While it's no Titan, with most modern games I can get away with 1080p and high or very high settings and at least 30 fps. It's a 3.5 TFLOPS GPU (PS4 is only 1.8 TFLOPS, PS4 Pro is 4.2). Doom (the new one), F1 2016, Prey, Dishonored 2, Deus Ex all run at the highest, or near highest settings.

This GPU does take a massive FPS hit when you go the next resolution up from 1920x1080 to 2560x1440, so keep it at 1920x1080, no AA, set everything to max settings, then scale things down until you get an acceptable FPS. Shadow detail/quality seems to make a big difference, so I normally start there.

The min requirement is a 7850. That card is over 5 years old and it was just a medium range card to boot. The m295x is actually a little bit faster than that mid-range, 5 year old video card: http://www.hwcompare.com/24636/radeon-hd-7850-vs-radeon-r9-m295x/ The recommended specs are the 1060 and the 480 desktops. So at least you'll be able to play it decently with all, or most of the details turned down to reach 40-60 fps target.
