Am I correct to say there is a difference?
I’m looking specifically for film for use with the Pencil. Paperlike seem to be all the rage, but I’m hoping for something less expensive.

Bestskinsever make a matte film if you want it. I’m in the uk looking for a reasonably priced matte back skin.
