This issue has plagued me for awhile, wondering if anyone else has experienced it. When watching a series on MAX (formerly HBO), when the prior episode recap is playing, after about 5-8 seconds the entire AppleTV will freeze. Trying to force quit the app (double menu click) will play the "changing app sound" but not actually bring up app switcher. The only solve is to force reboot the device. If I skip the recap, everything plays correctly, however when bingeing will happen again at next recap. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, tried developer betas and standard release to no avail. Would kind of live it with (although frustrating), but another streaming app did it to me last night (Netflix, I think) so want to track it down.
