I bought in April an MBA 2020 1,2 GHz Intel Core i7 4-core, 16 Go 3733 MHz LPDDR4X. Using it with Logic PRO (no issues) and with Final Cut Pro (really slow when trying to make 4K videos but ok otherwise - not great, but ok). That was an upgrade from a 2013 MBA, 1.7GHz Intel Dual-Core Core i7 with 8GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM (that could not run Final Cut Pro).
My question is: would the MBA M1 would really bring me more power, particularly using Final Cut pro? Anybody can comment on their personal experience using Final Cut Pro on the new MBA M1?
