MBA M2 has stronger hinges than MBP 14" M1Pro

I had my MBP 14" for about 2.5 months. Today arrived my new MBA M2, instantly noticed the stronger hinges and more sturdiness feeling compared to the MBP 14". It's me or is a placebo effect?

Placebo effect. Unless you have a device that will measure "stiffness"

Felt stronger hinges too on the M2 MBA when compared to my MBP14. Not bothered by it tho.

I like my hinges strong!

It’s probably just newer. After a few hundred open/close cycles it may loosen slightly like the 14”
