Macbook Pro MD101LL/A using diplayport to vga adapter. Official Apple brand.
This is the setup in teacher classrooms. The macbook is connected to the apple dongle which is displayport to vga and then the vga is connected to a wall drop running to a projector.
The problem that is being reported is if the dongle is disconnected from the macbook and then a reconnect is attempted the macbook doesn't detect the external display anymore.
Has anyone heard of this or know what might be the solution?
