I've seen a few of these from Sintec among others. These are passive adapters as far as I can work out som the compatibility mentioned have to do with Apple compatibility rather than the adapter itself (unless I'm completely out left field).

Now, I need to upgrade my internal storage as well as get a bit of a speed upgrade (my original drive is sluggish to say the least compared to some of the benchmarks I've seen on here from similar machines.) and I have seen these adapters but I haven't read anything about anyone testing them in the nMP. Given that the connector on the newer MBPs are the same Apple proprietary PCIe I'm guessing it should work right?

So, did anyone try this and with what results? And would you recommend it considering a used drive for nMP is about 600€..?
