Memomji/animoji support in Mojave

Does anyone know when or if Apple will bring these 2 features to the desktop macs? Would love to have them. I'm guessing they need to update the facetime camera in order to support facial recognition. I really hope the new macs will have this.

It'll come when Face ID comes to Mac, which is probably a long way off. I would not want to see the price of Mac's that include Face ID today. Maybe in a few years when the cost of the components gets cheaper.
