Messages in iCloud gone?

Hey all

I just installed the GM candidate and noticed that on none of my devices I can sync messages to iCloud. I have definitely seen and used this feature before, but now it's gone on all of them. It's not even in the settings anymore. Has this been removed?

my Devices:
iMac 2015, 10.13 GM
MacBook Pro 2013, 10.13 latest PB
iPhone 7, iOS11
iPad Pro 10.5 2017, iOS11

It was removed a few betas ago, "coming in a future release" apparently.
