Can anyone confirm if 10.15.4 updated the GPU drivers for the current AMD card lineup?

Been waiting to pull the trigger on a 16" MBP but keep hearing horror stories about glitches and Metal acceleration on the new Macs, especially in Adobe Premiere Pro. Been hoping that it gets fixed before they just give up on and move to 10.16.

Acceleration for Adobe Premiere Pro? That's an Adobe problem, not Apple. Adobe has dragged their feet optimizing their pro apps for macOS.

My MBP 16" comes with the Radeon Pro 5500M and there are no horror or glitches. It's up to 10-50% faster than the last generation of Vega GPUs in the MBP 15".

Apple built-in AMD cards have no driver issues. Hardware acceleration has not been enabled, but there are rumors Apple will implement it with the next update to FCPX.

I can't speak to issues with aftermarket AMD GPU cards, but those issues are probably up to AMD to resolve. Apple is only responsible for drivers for their own cards, not aftermarket cards. Usually aftermarket versions of Apple cards are compatible with macOS, but Apple does not guarantee compatibility or support for these cards.
