Micro$oft MPEG-4 V2 ???

iHave an old .avi that plays fine in VLC Player and not QT and want to convert it to an mpg2.
What settings should be used and how would iGo about doing this?

It's "Microsoft", not "Micro$oft"

Anyway, MPEG-4 V2 is like the grandfather of the WMV codec, and have little in common with current day MPEG-4... Get Flip4Mac. It should be able to handle it.
