I have a midi that I want to use as a ringtone on my phone. The problem is, the midi is of the entire song and I just want the chorous. Does anyone know if there's a free or cheap program for OSX (or Windows, I'll use VPC if I must) that will allow me to cut off the parts of the MIDI I don't want? Thanks.

If you have QT pro you should be able to open the midi file, select your starting point and press and hold SHIFT. Press play (still holding shift) and stop the playback when the desired section is over. Then copy that selection, open a new player and use the "paste special" (i think thats what it is called) function. Then save the new player, and BAM! a shortened midi file.

If all else fails i am sure that I or someone else could help you out as long as it is just ONE song. :p

lets see what other replies you get first before you outsource the job..lol
