Good morning all.
I've recently purchased a Refurbished Mac mini Apple M2 Chip with 8‑Core CPU and 10‑Core GPU and a Samsung 32" M80C monitor.
From what I can gather the only way to get the Samsung webcam and the usb-c port on the monitor to work is using the Samsung provided usb-c cable to connect to the Mini.

Unfortunately, I just realized that my mini does not have a usb-c.
Only 2 thunderbolt, 2 usb-a ports, and an hdmi (and an ethernet).

What would be the best way to hook up the monitor and have everything work?
Is it as simple as an adapter? I just worry about losing something in the translation with an adapter.

Sincerely, Dave.

The TB ports are backward compatible with USB. Your cable should work fine.
Ok. Just to clarify...
The cable that came with the Samsung is a usb-c to usb-c.
So I would need a thunderbolt to usb-c adapter.
Correct?
Or are the connections the same?

Please disregard. I've figured out what you were saying.
I didn't realize they were the same connection.

Sincerely, Dave.

The connections are identical :)
