Mini M2 won't recognise my numeric keyboard (cabled).

My new Mac Mini won't work with my numeric keyboard. The numeric part, that is.
Annoying and weird. Mac's seem to become un-user friendly.
And don't ask me about Logitech!!!

I know this sounds obvious but Did you check the Num Lock key?
