Mini Pocket PC plus Distraction Free Phone?

I saw an ad for the GPD 3 - like a slide up sidekick like Windows PC that isn't far off pocketable. It got me thinking.... how cool would it be to carry that around, take it out when you need it to get things done, then dock it at your desk when at home. Then, use a distraction free phone that can call, text and tether an internet connection to the PC.... Has anybody here done this? Any impractical things to consider?
