Hello, some time ago I bought a 2nd Macbook Pro 2016 touchbar. The Macbook does not make any sound (silent mode), when plugging in the headset is also not found, it can only use a bluetooth device for sound. I have done various ways:

- Reset NVRAM, SMC

- Run diagnostics

- Reinstall

- Use a toothpick to clean the jack port

Everything is the same and nothing changes.

But oddly! I tried installing Windows via bootcamp, and it found that the speakers are working fine. I'm confused by this case, I don't think it's a hardware fault because it's proven to still work. I need a solution, thank you!

Hello!

I've the same problem as yours and I still experience this issue, however I use cotton stick with alcohol and twisting it through the female audio jack. I got it worked, but it immediately went back to "digital out" after unplug of headphones' male jack

I see your date is matching to the same day of mine, yeah, but I recommend you to buy replacement (do at your own risk) or get touch in tech expert

Have you tried to add hand sanitazer's element on cotton stick?
