I am trying to use MLPostFactor to update my (unsupported) 2006 Mac Pro from Lion to Mountain Lion, and have followed the necessary procedures re. creating partitions etc. However, I don't have the Mountain Lion install program downloaded from the Apple Store which should be residing in Applications. Instead, I only have a Mountain Lion 10.8 boot DVD.

Can someone kindly advise me on how to get MLPostFactor to read from this DVD, or alternatively, how to copy the boot DVD installer onto my hard drive so that MLPostFactor can recognise it?

Many thanks ... especially to the developers of MLPostFactor!
