I have a family cellular data plan for use abroad, which I share with our three kids who study overseas.

I've been an iOS guy ever since launch, and something which boggles my mind is why Apple keeps on dropping mobile data saving features all over the effing place. Why won't they offer a "profile" which minimizes cellular usage when I need it instead of having us first FIND and then change 6 or 7 different settings :(

There’s a Low Data Mode already in settings.

Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data Options -> Data Mode

Thanks, I know this is a good and valiant start but there are other apps to which this doesn't apply and where you have to manually switch them off :( Like Google Photos, take a photo and it's synced to google servers automatically, post images to social media etc etc. I can behave and know how to limit data usage, but my kids are daft! :p
