Cutting your mini sim down to micro sim does indeed work. It has been extensively tested on almost all Danish providers by a Danish website. They have also tested a cut down mini sim with a "micro sim to mini sim" adapter which also works.

FYI

adapters from micro SIM to standard SIM are starting to appear on the usual China shopping sites like DX for USD 3.80 so they should be hitting Ebay as well

found a website that sells these $25

http://simcumcise.com

waiting to get mine soon.

Save your $25 and DIY!!!

Not that hard the use a pair of sharp scissors. I cut mine down two nights ago and works perfectly.

Give it a try and if you do screw up you can go to a Corporate AT&T Store and get a free sim. Just be sure to bring your old cell phone so they can activate your new sim.

I do not have ATT but this is perfect for TMo users who want to use their SIM in the iphone 4 or ipads without having multiple data accouts to pay for.

Ah, I did not notice it came with a cutter. And good point. But wait...so it's $19 for the cutter? OUCH!

It's more like $9 for cutter + $6 x2 adaptor all for $21. They got a special in honor of iPhone 4 being unlocked.

iphone 4 pay as you go?

Hi, I want to buy an iphone 4 and was just wondering if I buy the iphone sim free (unlocked), will I be able to get a micro-sim and use it pay as you go. I was also wondering the internet on the iphone would cost money from my credit. I currently have an O2 pay as you go mini-sim for my current phone and so I am also wondering if I were to cut it to size weather I could use the iphone on pay as you go with that sim as per usual. Thanks.
