Modem question

The new book -as I heard- does not carry a dial-up modem. I need dial-up three times a week on the mornings when I go to our warehouse. I also travel eventually and I mostly choose cheap hotels with no wireless...

Is there a way to connect it to dial-up Internet? If yes, How?

I know this is too simple of a question to make a new thread, but I didn't find an existing one to insert my question. Excuse my ignorance about peripherals if any exist.
